1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the WARdrop. mobile application (“App” or “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and WARdrop. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Account & Access
Account Creation
To use certain features of WARdrop., you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at wardropapp@gmail.com.
Account Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use WARdrop. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your Content
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to WARdrop., including photos, outfit combinations, and any other data you create within the App (“User Content”).
License to Us
By uploading content to the App, you grant WARdrop. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties or publish it anywhere without asking you first.
Showing part of your wardrobe to another member, as described in Section 5, is you exercising that choice yourself. It does not widen this license, and it does not make your content ours to use for anything else.
Being Featured
If you switch on Open to Being Featured in Settings, we may contact you about appearing in our Inspiration Feed. That setting is off unless you turn it on, and turning it on is an invitation to be asked — nothing more.
Should you agree to take part, we will settle with you beforehand exactly which photos and words are used and how you are credited, and you keep ownership of everything you contribute. You may ask us to take a feature down at any time.
Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent and warrant that:
- You own the rights to any photos and content you upload
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Your content does not contain harmful, offensive, or illegal material
5. Sharing With Other Members
You may invite another member to view part of your wardrobe for a limited time. This section applies to both sides of that arrangement, and by using the feature in either direction you accept it.
If you are sharing
You decide who may look, which part they may look at, how long they get — 15 minutes, 30 minutes or one hour — and you may end their access at any moment. Your collections and your favourites are separate permissions and are always asked for and answered separately.
You are responsible for who you invite. Sharing begins with a link you send to somebody yourself, so anyone who can ask is somebody you have chosen to give that link to. Treat it accordingly, and replace it in the App if it goes somewhere you did not intend.
Understand what you are agreeing to. Somebody you allow can save a copy of any item they can see into their own wardrobe, and that copy is theirs to keep. They can also photograph or screenshot their own screen, which no application can prevent.
Ending access stops them seeing anything further. It does not delete copies already saved, and it cannot recall what they have already seen. Treat showing somebody your wardrobe as showing it to them permanently, and share only with people you trust.
If you are viewing
What you are shown remains the other member’s property, and it was shown to you for one purpose: to look at it. The App lets you do one thing beyond looking, described below. Everything else is off limits.
Saving an item
You may use Save to my closet to keep a copy of an item you have been shown. That copy becomes part of your own wardrobe and remains after their access to you has ended or expired.
The owner is told. Saving an item sends them a notification naming you and the item, so this is not something that happens quietly.
Because it outlasts the permission that produced it, treat it as what it is — a picture of somebody else’s belongings, kept with their knowledge that this is possible but not with their approval of any particular copy. Save what is useful to you, and delete it if they ask you to. A member who asks you to remove a copy of their item is making a reasonable request, and refusing is a breach of these Terms.
What you may not do
Whether or not you have saved it, you agree not to:
- Screenshot, record or otherwise reproduce another member’s wardrobe content outside the App’s own save feature
- Re-share, publish, transmit or show that content to anyone else, saved or not
- Use it to build any record, list or catalogue of another person’s belongings
- Use it to impersonate, harass, pressure, embarrass or profile another person
- Use it for any commercial purpose, including valuation, resale or advertising
- Attempt to retain, restore or extend access after it has ended, or to work around the time limits or permissions in any way
Permission to view is given to you by another person, not by us. It may be withdrawn at any time, without notice and without a reason being given, and it expires on its own regardless.
Our role
We provide the mechanism and enforce the limits it advertises. We do not review, moderate or take responsibility for what members choose to show one another, and we are not a party to any agreement between them.
What somebody does with something they were shown is a matter between the two members concerned. That said, misuse of this feature is a breach of these Terms: report it to wardropapp@gmail.com and we may suspend or terminate the account responsible.
6. Acceptable Use

The App, including its design, features, functionality, graphics, and all other content provided by WARdrop. (excluding User Content), is owned by WARdrop. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The WARdrop. name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of WARdrop. You may not use any of these marks without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you in any WARdrop. intellectual property.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WARdrop. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
In no event shall WARdrop.’s total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50 if no payments have been made.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting the App from your device and requesting account deletion.
Upon termination for any reason:
- Your right to use the App immediately ceases
- We may delete your account and User Content in accordance with our data retention policy
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Germany. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
If you are located in the European Union, you may also access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform for resolving disputes.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email (if you have provided an email address). The updated Terms will be effective upon posting.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were most recently revised.
